PickAuditor
For services

Claim, feed, verify

If PickAuditor tracks your public picks, you can claim the profile, send those picks as a feed, and add a Verified feed badge. Each option is described below with what it changes and what it cannot change.

Options for services
OptionCostWhat it doesWhat it never does
Claim your profileFreeVerifies a contact at your domain. You are notified when a dispute about your service is opened or resolved, and you can correct listing details (name, site, pricing, sports).Changes a grade, a rate or an order.
Submit a verified feedFreeYour public picks arrive as JSON instead of being read from your page. Faster capture, fewer matching errors, timestamps you can see.Replaces the public-tier rule: each feed pick must be visible on the public URL you send.
Verified feed badge$49 / monthA validation report on every fetch, disputes reviewed first, and the “Verified feed” marker on your profile.Affects ranking, order, colour or any number.

The rules on the methodology page apply to every option: public-tier picks only, captured before kickoff, graded by the same function as every other service.

Claim your profile

Claiming establishes that the person writing to us speaks for the service. Verification is by domain: the email must come from an address at the domain of the website on your profile.

  1. Send an email to contact@pickauditor.com from an address at your domain, with the subject “Claim profile: your service name”.
  2. We reply to that address to confirm it receives mail, and record it as the service's contact.
  3. From then on, disputes about your service and changes to your listing are sent to that address.

A free-mail address (gmail, outlook and similar) cannot claim a profile. If your service has no domain, write to us and we will find another way to verify.

What claiming changes

  • You can correct the listing: name, website, pricing tiers, sports covered, sub-model names.
  • You are notified the day a dispute about your service is opened or resolved.
  • Your replies to disputes are published as the service's right of reply.

What claiming does not change

  • No grade, rate, rank or colour. The record is computed by code from captured picks.
  • No removal of past picks. A pick that was public when captured stays in the record.
  • No access to premium picks. We only record what is public.

Submit a verified feed

A feed replaces page-reading with a JSON document you control. The transport is agreed by email: in the first instance a URL on your domain that returns an array of picks, which we fetch on the same 4-hour schedule as public pages. Each element is one pick with the fields below, which are the fields of our picks record that a service can supply. Everything else — capture time, event match, grade, metrics — is set by us.

Feed fields, one pick per object
FieldTypeRequiredNotes
source_urlstring (URL)requiredThe public page where this pick is visible. We check it there; a pick that is not visible at this URL is rejected.
raw_event_textstringrequiredThe event as you display it, e.g. “Arsenal vs Chelsea”.
home_raw / away_rawstringrecommendedTeam or player names as you write them. Improves matching.
sport_guessenumrequiredsoccer · basketball · american_football · baseball · hockey · tennis · mma · esports
league_guessstringoptionalLeague or competition name as you show it.
event_time_rawISO-8601 with offsetrequiredScheduled start. Used to build the ±36 h candidate window.
marketenumrequiredmatch_winner · spread · total · btts · draw_no_bet · double_chance · player_prop · correct_score · other
selectionenumrequiredhome · away · draw · over · under · yes · no · other
selection_labelstringrequiredAs displayed: “Over 2.5”, “Arsenal Win”, “1X”, “2-1”.
linenumberspread, total, player_propThe handicap or total. Spread line is the selected side's handicap, e.g. −3.5.
prop_subjectstringplayer_prop“LeBron James points”. Graded from the official box score.
quoted_odds_decimalnumber > 1recommendedDecimal. Without it the pick is priced at the market at capture, which is usually less favourable to you.
quoted_bookmakerstringoptionalWhere the quoted price came from.
stated_probabilitynumber 0–1optionalOnly if it is a win probability. Enables Brier and log score for the pick.
stated_confidencestringoptionalRaw label as shown: “3 stars”, “high”, “92%”. Not a probability.
model_namestringoptionalSub-model or persona name, if you publish several. Each gets its own record.
reasoning_excerptstring ≤ 300 charsoptionalVerbatim. The only free text we store.
published_atISO-8601recommendedWhen the pick went public on your site. Stored for the record; our own fetch time decides the before-kickoff test.

Rules that still apply

  • Public tier only. Every feed pick must be visible at its source_url without an account or payment. We keep reading the page and reconcile it against the feed; a pick in the feed but not on the page is rejected and the rejection is reported to you.
  • Before kickoff. A pick is counted only if we fetched it before the event's start time. Sending a pick late, or sending yesterday's winners, produces void picks.
  • Same grader, same metrics. Feed picks are matched, graded and priced like page-captured picks. Quoted odds are used when present; otherwise the market at capture.
  • No edits after the fact. The first version of a pick we fetch is the record. A changed selection, line or price later creates a new pick, not a revision.
  • Ranked after 30 graded picks, like everyone else.

Verified feed badge

$49 per month, for services that send a feed. It pays for the work of validating the feed and for priority in the dispute queue. It is billed by invoice, set up by email; there is no payment form on this site.

  • Feed validation. On every fetch you receive a report: records rejected and why (schema errors, unmatched events, picks not visible at their URL, prices that differ from the page), and matches that went to human review.
  • Dispute priority. Disputes from badge holders are reviewed first, within the same 7-day window that applies to everyone.
  • “Verified feed” marker on your profile and in lists, indicating that your picks arrive by feed and are validated. It is a statement about data delivery, not about performance.

The badge does not affect ranking, order, colour or any number on this site. A badge holder with a negative ROI shows a negative ROI, in the same position it would hold without the badge.

How disputes work

Any pick, match, grade or quoted claim can be disputed by email, by you or by a reader. Every dispute is public from the day it is opened, on the disputes page and on your profile. We reply within 7 days with a decision and a written note. An accepted dispute corrects the record, recomputes the statistics on the next daily run and is written to the changelog; a rejected one stays visible with the reason.

We keep the raw HTML of every capture for at least 24 months, so a dispute about what a page showed at a given time can be settled from evidence rather than memory.

Blocking

If you would rather we did not read your pages, a robots.txt rule is respected on the next run. The profile stays, with the record frozen at that date and a note that capture stopped. A feed is the alternative.
